Tinker Hill overlooking Lake Waramaug in New Preston, CT was a complete renovation of an existing cottage. The project was designed by architect Caleb Mulvena of Mapos Architects in New York. The project emphasized working within the foot print of the original structure. Steel I-beams were installed to support the structure of the new cathedral ceilings. White oak paneling, trim and millwork was used to create a modern feel. All of the millwork and cabinetry was fabricated in house by Revolutionary Building’s cabinet shop. A new exterior deck with cable rail system was installed and high quality LePage windows were used throughout the project.
